I told my son he gets one pair for school each year, the rest he's gotta use birthday/ Christmas money for. We got him a $230 pair for his bday last year and he popped the bubbles in it by getting his shoe stuck in the school bus door ( within like 2 months of getting them) smh...then I found out my husband had thrown the box away ( despite the fact I hid it under my sons bed) so apparently you can't return without the box even though they have warranties. I just don't get why all teenage boys want nowadays are shoes... My son and his friends spend hours talking about and looking at shoes.

Lol I mean the discount is good tho... But gonna be a hard habit for him to break... Good thing is it's his money lol

@nelly1991, he's a sneaker head as well so if he gets a pair his baby girl gets one also. We just got her sneakers last week so I said wait till she gets to wear her other new sneakers. But no he don't listen he even told my ass get a job at foot locker and work just one day so we can get a discount 😂😂 I use to be a sneaker head too but I was single at the time once I got pregnant I donated most of my sneakers cause I didn't wanna continue the habit of buying so much sneakers

Me working at footlocker kids grow way to fast.. To be getting mad pairs of sneakers... Granted I might end over doing it lol but I can't help I'm s sneaker head I have over 100 pairs of sneakers... But soon he will realize it

@angelao777, see that's what I don't want to happen. These Jordan's and nikes are expensive especially when they get bigger. I know my boyfriend still won't mind buying them for her but he needs to teach her things can't just be handed to you just cause you want them. She wants those expensive sneakers I will make her work for them. (When she's of age)

My son always had a ton of shoes when he was little. My husband was the same way wanting to buy him ones he thought were cool. Our newest son isn't here yet but already has shoes lol. Sad part about my husbands trend when my son was little is that now as a teen my son loves shoes even more... Bad part is the ones he wants are $200+ a pair.

@imhermomduh, that's what I told him I said if you buy them buy them a size bigger so they can fit for winter time.
