@mama__osborne, it's not something that needs to be blown out of proportion or something to worry obsessively over. If you're that worried ask your doctor to test for it. I really don't see the need to tell my doctor because I'm not worried about it. Use deet bug spray when you go out if it scares you

@ashsloan, i realize that but its still cause for concern- they still dont know too much about it... tons of people go to Mexico every day plus think about Rio the Olympics... no thank you ill stay away from everyone... one less thing to worry about

@b3autifulm3ss, 69 cases out of the millions in California, I'm going to say that's still very rare. Most of the cases are of people who visited Mexico recently, and not all of the cases are in pregnant women

270 in FL... its more prominent than people think... people just aren't getting pregnant/aborting/are men

yes and it's not in the us it's people visiting outside the country getting infected and coming here

Yes, it's really not that big of a deal. Zika virus is not that prominent in the states, very very rare.
