I was told I was being prideful because I didn't want people to buy gifts for my baby for reveal and diaper party. I just asked for books and diapers if someone wanted to purchase a gift. I just want a party to celebrate Z we don't needs gifts let's just eat and have fun ,is how I feel about it.
Diapers arent a gift for baby? My sister is coming down today to hang out with me and baby. She wanted to bring him some gifts. She got him an outfit, 2 toys, and a pair of shoes/booties. She said she wanted to get a little bit more and asked if there was anything else she could get as a gift for him and I said he can always use diapers. Her reply was that Diapers aren't a baby gift, they would be a gift for us and while she'll happily pick us up a pack she wants to get him something he needs and can use.
I know I've posted this before but when your water was leaking did it stay leaking or just with movements or what? Did you get contractions shortly after or no? I rolled out of bed and felt warmth leak out but Idk if it was possibly urine or what...never had it happen. It didn't smell like anything really...I know I should either call l&d or go in but I just want some experiences please. I want to wait a bit just in case it's nothing.

Same. My sister & cousin were telling me I was dumb for not wanting a baby shower with gifts. I was just gonna ask for diapers & have food & little party, nothing fancy. I dont like big events especially when all eyes are on me. I'm a VERY shy person.
