I packed way too heavily. I didn't need near as much as I thought I would. If I'd do it again I'd pack for myself...phone, charger, pillow, blanket (im attached lol), pair of comfy shorts, flip flops, couple t shirts, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and razor (hospital even offered these items but I had my own) I had packed enough to stay a week haha. The hospital will give you mesh undies so I wouldn't take your own and ruin them. For baby just an outfit or two if you're wanting to dress them and honestly that's about it. Obviously car seat. lol. They'll give you everything you need for baby. We had to make like 4 trips to the car when we left because I packed too much lol

i packed this and ended up using all of it

my robe its silky and light for hanging out on the bed after birth_makeup_hairties_bodywash travel size_my own soft towel_ deoderant_toothbrush toothpaste_ fuzzy sox_about 3 pads_going home outfit with 1 pair underwear because the mesh slip..2 pairs of clothes for baby nb and 3m.car seat.husbands stuff including pillow and blanket for him

this is just what worked for me..but im so glad i had this spray for down their after birth it felt soooo nice a d smells so fresh and made me feal so much better

@jacesterlingsmommy, @jazmin805 thank you ladies so much! I know I over packed for my son but I couldn't decide which outfit I want him in and i bought him a cute baby tuxedo lol. and I'm definitely gonna look into that spray!

what types of pads do you ladies recommend and do I need to buy any?

Yeah I forgot about toothbrush/ toothpaste and some hair ties. Stock up as much as you can from the hospital but I didn't have enough so I bought the always overnight with wings. They are nice and big. I tried to get the biggest thing I could.
