i got alot of 0-3 and 3-6 my baby is due sept 17 so lots of basic plain white onesies then sleepers to layer! just because you never know what the weather is going to be like in September (at least in indiana)

but agree with @maddiesmommy022916 you can't go wrong with onesies no matter what time of the year. My son runs really hot so I can't put him in sleepers or he sweats at night. He usually just wears a onesie since it's been so hot out.

@jacesterlingsmommy, so far she's growing small because of my complications. They expect her to be 6lbs when she's born.

All the other sizes I have were hand me downs since it's hard to say what size he will be in during that season.

Have they given you an estimate of what baby will weigh? My son was 7 lbs 3 oz and just outgrew newborn at 7 weeks. 0-3 some are still big and some fit. I bought all sizes up to 6-9 just in case he was big or grows fast.

I got sleepers and onesies in all different sizes and a couple of fall and winter outfits but she is growing more than I expected so none of it is going to fit. I would get sleepers and onesies in all different sizes because they can wear those anytime but I would wait to buy actual outfits because it's hard to determine what size she will be in. My daughter will be 8 months this fall and I got her 6 to 9 month outfits for fall and a few 12 month and she can already fit in almost all of the 6 to 9 month so they won't fit her this fall. She was also born early so my sizes are off.

That's what I did. Just a couple newborn and some of the other sizes. She can always grow into clothes.

What about other sizes? Like should I get 3-6 and 6-9 and then just play the rest by ear as she grows?

I bought stuff ahead of time for this fall and winter and none of it is going to fit her since she has gotten big :( wasted so much money lol. Oh well at least I get to go shopping again haha. I would get mainly 0 to 3 for when the baby is born and maybe 2 or 3 newborn things. My daughter was only in newborn for a few weeks.
