So my fiancé just called and gave me the worst news ever. His job is making him work the day of our baby shower. I kind of knew it was gonna happen because this is the same job that made him go into work when I was in labor with my son two years ago. I've hated his job ever since. He only has two shifts to choose and they have him on morning shift and the other coworker doesn't want to switch with him. Just great...the time he's most needed he won't be home. Now I have to find a ride for me and the kids, cook the food by myself, and be at the baby shower without him. I tried to stay calm but I couldn't hold back the tears. My feelings are very hurt. Every time we plan something together, it gets blown off because his job just does not care. I can't be mad at him and I'm trying to stay positive but I'm just fed up with his job.
