I've just come back from monitoring and an attempted sweep at the hospital. Cervix still posterior although soft and couldn't really do a proper sweep but then when they had finished I experienced a few light cramps, I went to the toilet and it appears I've lost my mucas plug there was a bit of blood in it. Does this mean labour is imminent or can it still be a way off? xxx

@jetrum, when I was induced 3 weeks ago, I had a sweep but cervix was still posterior & closed. Lost some bloody show about 10 mins later & then my waters went about 20 mins after that...so could be start of something. Fingers crossed for you xx
