@natzilla, do you have any suggestions on how to unblock the breast ducts to get a better flow of milk
@rileyaiyanasmommy yes, I just started pumping and it's amazing. Really helps for when you need to run out to the store and baby is looking to eat. But I waited the 3 weeks to give her a bottle. That's what the hospital told me anyways, but I don't think it makes a difference :P she still eats from breast like normal and bottle she does good with too
@rileyaiyanasmommy You said it! I really don't understand the choice to not breastfeed whenever it is an option, because it's just looking out for the best interest of everyone.
This is the second baby I'm EBF 😍 And if you want to better your milk supply eat oatmeal! I had some last night and my breasts were engorged with milk they were so full. And stay away from anything gassy, and definitely caffeine. Don't want to keep baby up all night with that and the caffeine isn't so good for them. And stray away from any alcohol or cigarettes, but I'm sure you know that I'm just throwing it out there (unless your pumping baby a lot of bottles worth beforehand)
do you have any suggestions on things to eat in order to produce a better milk supply? and what to stay away from while breastfeeding? @babes101116 l
im breastfeeding my daughter and i think this was defly the best decision i have made for the both of us...
Healthy, Convenient, Inexpensive, and A Way To Bond @miicat
I drank a bunch of gatorade and ate oatmeal with chocolate right after I had my baby and I got so engorged that he couldn't get latched on. I had to pump in order to get them down enough to feed him. so, I would say don't eat/drink any of the "lactation boosting" things until after your milk comes in
