I was so worried when I first started pumping because I my milk would come out with alot of blood (due to a platelet condition) but after a couple of days I started pumping clean milk. Now I'm pumping like crazy and slowly starting my milk bank for my baby. All I need is for my baby to be discharged from the NICU. Hopefully today is the day. Fingers crossed!
When can I start giving my son regular milk? He turns 10 months in 2 days. I bought unsweetened almond milk yesterday so he can try. Would that be okay? I’m lowkey tired of him on formula but I mean he’s still a baby lol.
Breastfeeding moms: so I am planning on going on a 3 day vacation with my hubby & a bunch of friends to Catalina in May, (my baby won't be going with us) and I do not wanna be pumping and dumping every 2 hours out there.. so if I don't pump or breastfeed for 3-4 days, will my milk supply drop significantly? 😩😩 & I don't know how I'm gonna deal with the engorgement pain if I can't find time to pump out there.
So I read that nipple stimulation and pumping can help start labor.. If I pump colostrum will my milk come in? I don't wanna pump all the colostrum away before my baby gets here
took me 10 minutes to pump this from both breast after feeding Ethan for 25 minutes. My milk supply is going crazy yesterday I pumped 8 bottles my milk stash is going to be great
My breast are heavy and full with milk but when I squeeze nothing comes out and when I try to pump nothing is pumped into the breast pump its like I have milk but its stuck and wont come out...any tips or help on this.. i really would like to breastfeed my daughter....

yes he is strong an healthy almost 6year old this is my four baby but I have so much anxiety that the the same thing will happen again but I hope ur baby is home soon an good luck if u don't mind me asking what was wrong with him

I'm glad everything turnout out well. I passed on some antibodies that were attacking her platelets which was causing them to go down everyday. The normal count is 150,000-450,000 and hers dropped to 62,000.

@lilbit123, no she was a full term baby, 40 weeks and 2 days. she actually was discharged today finally. but we have follow up appointments with a hemoglobin peds specialists.
