This don't look to safe , what if he tilts back he'll fall and probably hurt himself & then also your child will then start using the toilet backwards thinking that's how it's suppose to be done .... But then again I can be wrong idk

I've potty trained both of my boys this way and they are 7 and 9 now. I never had any issues with them falling backwards. This helps them get the pee in the potty and not spray everywhere as they can lean forward and have the back of the potty to support them. They both stand to go potty now and rarely miss.

This is what we've done for our son. They say it helps them begin to learn peeing standing up. And we normally stay in there or close by to help. 😊

My mom potty trained my brother like this because when she started the toilet seat fell and hit his boy parts so he was terrified of the potty after that so sh taught him to sit backwards and hold the toilet seat up so it didn't fall. Guys will always face that way to pee when they are old enough to stand and do it they face that way anyways.

We're going to try the Cheerios in the toilet thing.
