getting induced tomorrow and i have no idea what to expect. anybody want to share their induction story or give me tips?
@ariliyahzihmommy3, i had pitocin they never put anything in my cervix. But they broke my water. I got the epidural late. I probably should've gotten it earlier before the contractions got bad. I will be doing that this time lol @ariliyahzihmommy3
@happymomma2211xox, @leonandmarleighsmommy__ @ariliyahzihmommy3 thank you mamas. i feel a little bit more prepared now lol
I also had to get my water broke with my first..that does speed everything up but my 2nd it broke on its own from the contractions. If you can handle it without the epidural I thinking better bc epidural tend to cause problems (with few ppl) that's all I regret.
I was induced with my 2 oldest kids (6 && 2)...I can't tell you what it's gonna be like pain wise bc I opted for an epidural both times before getting serious contractions. They put cervadil inside me for 12 hours to soften up my cervix then after the 12 hours they gave me pitocin (didn't need it with my 2nd bc the cervadil jumped me into labor) after the pitocin the contractions get more intense. Took another almost 12 hours before I even had my first, my 2nd even tho I dilated beautifully she got stuck facing up in my cervix and the epidural was soo strong I didn't have energy to push so she ended up being taken emergency csection. I loved both my inductions..hated how my 2nd ended but it was a nice experience for me..still am going to go for a vba2c in a few years since I was denied it with this 3rd baby I had 2 weeks ago.
Yeah the contractions sucked.... They were so bad I could barely breathe. Some people have better experiences but I hated induction. It'll all be worth it in the end, but I hope my water breaks and I go into labor on my own this time. @l0tus
I went through it with my first son....the contractions were ten times worse for me but the doctors were amazing and gave me my epidural very quickly.
@babes101116, yeah ive been doing that. i was hoping for something a little more personal from someone who went through it though, you know what i mean?
when I have my 4th in 5 years I want all natural vba2c...I better get it
