I love this car seat and she does too (when the straps aren't bothering her lol) I have a mirror that hangs on the back of the real car seat and she can see herself & I can see her in the rear view mirror and she loves that. I switched her to this seat at about 8 months I was over the infant carrier lol. @coral1 & @valerie_jean I'll have to look for some. Thank you.

Try buying small strap covers, not the long ones. It will help the straps digging into her skin. The long ones stop the chest clip from being where it needs to be.

@teambarnes, @valerie_jean the straps were bothering her. She would scream the whole car trip and mess with them that's why I moved them.

The straps should be at her shoulder or right under them. The chest clip looks great! Should be level with her armpits.

The straps shouldn't be moved up that much. It should be even with her shoulders or right behind her shoulders, not even with her neck. I learned that the hard way when my daughter got a cut on her neck from moving it up too soon 😕

Thoughts on waiting another year to start daughter in preschool.

Thoughts on waiting another year to start daughter in preschool. Our district doesn’t have a spot at the moment. So we have to find a preschool ourselves. We applied to Headstart but we make too much money so lower income families get first spots. But both districts have her at the top of their waiting list above others because she needs/receives speech therapy therefore they want the grant money that comes along with her being enrolled. It’s just so frustrating. I feel that worth Covid we know nothing of what’s going on and I still don’t have a school for her at this point. But she could also benefit of waiting another year but it would also benefit her to go. I just don’t want to send her to school if it’s going to be super restrictive because of Ohio’s guidelines set for Covid. Am I wrong or selfish?! Also I fear then her brother and her will be in the same grade if I wait to send her. Which isn’t terrible but I feel comes with it’s own set of problems.
