Does anyone's 2 month old sleep through the night yet? If so what time does baby go to bed and wake up that counts as "sleeping through the night"? I know every baby is different I was just wondering what I may be able to expect hopefully soon or in the future.

I've totally tried the putting him in bed half asleep thing. Yeah, doesn't work for him. lol. Kid is difficult I tell you. He wakes up and will not fall back asleep. You can't move him at all without him becoming wide awake or just fussing. It's frustrating. Theres times he's been dead asleep and I very gently put him in his car seat to go somewhere and wide awake then won't fall back asleep in the car. 😑 I'll have to try the heating pad thing. I've also only tried it once though, putting my shirt near him when he sleeps. The one time it didn't seem to help but I'll try it again. @emkasting

It's perfectly fine for him to be in a Swaddle sack or blanket to sleep, most young babies prefer be tightly wrapped. But I know what you mean about him getting used to the swing. What you can do is put him in the swing until he is groggy but not yet asleep, then take him and put him in the bassinet or crib. What could also help is "pre heating" the bassinet with a heating pad so he feels like you're near him with your body heat. Just make sure to take the heating pad out before putting him in

Kacey went through a stage like that, she would be so overtired she wouldn't sleep. She eventually grew out of it. Keep doing that routine. I used to have to stand at her bassinet for an hour and rock it back and forth. Now she will lay in there and fall asleep on her own. I swaddle her, and that's the only way she will sleep. Another thing is , her naps I started letting her sleep on her belly and she slept better. I just watched her and never left the room. And now that's how she naps or on her side. But you are doing everything. Sometimes it takes them awhile too adjust. You just have to push it and before you know it, he will be a pro. She will wake up and barely nurse sometimes and she wont wake up for nothing! It does get frustrating because you know they will wake up again. Just keep doing what your doing. 😊

He just so restless all the time. I feel like he's always rolling from side to side or grunting kicking his legs. Maybe I need to try and feed him a little more at night he just started eating 4 ounces during the day. If I put him in his crib or bassinet before he falls asleep he will just scream and scream. I have let him cry it out a couple times when I know he's fed and changed. He usually tires himself back out but then sometimes he doesn't stop and works himself all up and gets all hot and sweaty then really doesn't sleep. Thankfully when he does feed in the middle of the night he falls back asleep pretty easily or will fall asleep mid bottle. Sometimes it's frustrating though because he will wake up to eat and fall asleep and only eat a couple ounces. I'm like I know you want more than that. I try to wake him up. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I feel like he's become too dependent on his swing and swaddle to sleep. He does take a pacifier and it helps when he starts to whimper at night to fall back asleep. I'm really trying to put him on some sort of schedule but it's just not working. I feel like I'm not doing it right. When he wakes up at night I do have a routine of getting him out of bed, changing his diaper then feeding him. he just started to sleep in his own room because of him tossing and turning I wasn't getting any sleep.@emkasting @megbaby07 @rileysmomma16 @mama_bear13-16

You're not doing anything wrong girl, all babies are different! Like you said he won't fall asleep in the car, sometimes when Oakley is inconsolable that's the only thing that will calm him down. They're just different! I personally think cereal has helped Oakley eat a little less cause he was eating a LOT, just make sure you okay it with your pedi and see what they think. I think I might need to try that night time gripe water

Don't feel like that! My daughter was impossible at first. I was terrified too take her anywhere. But just keep pushing and make sure you keep it exactly the same and it will get better. I promise you. 😊

yes! I think it helps. It's all the same stuff as regular gripe water but also has added herbs for restful sleep. It's by mommy's bliss. @mama_bear13-16

It takes time. My first was the same way. Very difficult to handle some days. Have you tried gripe water? It could help with fussiness.

We also had alot of formula issues which made him very fussy and gassy. He's now on soy.

Yall make me feel like I'm doing something wrong lol. My child isn't an easy going baby in my opinion, not difficult but not easy. During the day we can't go much of anywhere because he can't stay awake very long before he gets super cranky and tired and needs a nap. Kid refuses to nap without his swaddle and swing. He hates his carseat so he never falls asleep in the car he will just scream. I've learned somewhat of a pattern. I know he naps after lunch time about 12/1pm until about 5, eats then falls back asleep until about 9 or so. He will then usually sleep the longest at that time until 2 or 3. Then after that it's every 2 hours until I finally get out of bed for the day then we do it all over again lol. I've been trying to give him baths at night to calm him but his skin is so dry I can't give them to him daily. His biggest problem is he fights sleep something awful and needs his swaddle. I've been taking his swaddle with me when we leave but it's so hot outside and he's usually a hot baby I don't like to put it on him. That's another reason I was asking if anyone put cereal in baby's bottle. @mommytoprinceaiden092915 @jgarciamua @mrssanderson @mama_bear13-16 @rileysmomma16 @megbaby07 @emkasting

Oakley's been sleeping through the night for a couple weeks now. He will fall asleep anywhere from 10pm-12am and sleep until 6:45 - 7:15 or so. We're getting him into a more regular routine now and it's working pretty well. Sometimes he will fall asleep at 9pm ish then wake up once more to eat at midnight then he's asleep for the rest of the night

My daughter started at about a month. I would start a routine. Pajamas, eat, swaddle, than bassinet. Every other night she would get a bath first and she would start about 8:30pm and then be in bed by 9:30pm and would sleep until like 7:30am maybe 8 and still does. It's hard at first but if you just stick too it. It will work. Like even now if she had a nap at around 6 she will still be tired and literally ready for me too put her in bed but 9:30pm lol

My 2.5mo JUST started to sleep through the night. I will try to keep her up as much as I can in the day, and when she does nap they are like cat naps and then one big nap, anywhere from an hour to two. She gets 4oz during the day and at 9-9:30 is bathtime, then I give her a good lotion rub down & a 6oz bottle (sometimes she will finish it all, sometimes not.) She's usually asleep by 1030 ish and won't wake up till 6, sometimes going on 8. If she does wake up I can coax her back to sleep with just her paci. I've learned to be sure to STICK with a schedule! Today we were running behind and it had her all messed up, poor baby lol. Good luck!

My 4 month old has been sleeping through the night at a month old. He would go down at 10 sometimes 9 and wake up at 7 in the morning. Right now at 330 am he had a feed but he goes back to sleep pretty quickly.

watch for a pattern of when he gets fussy/tired at night then stay consistent with putting him to bed at that time. I started noticing Josiah would be sleepy around the same time so he kinda created his own schedule. He goes to bed at 11 & sleeps until around 7 usually. The past week he's been waking up earlier but I think it's another growth spurt 😫

My baby started to sleep through the night at 2mo during the day i would make sure to make noise (not loud) have light in the house so she can get use to the day time and in the night i would make a peaceful environment and thats how my baby started to sleep through the night. And also bc at 2 months i would put her in my bed and from then she has been sleeping all night of course she wakes up to nurse but she goes back to sleep

I know it's probably wishful thinking lol. I've heard some mons say their baby's are already sleeping through the night and I'm like ugh how'd you get so lucky?! My baby is still up every 2 hours to feed. I think he has his days and night mixed up. He's up less during the day. @mommytoprinceaiden092915
