Any ladies have used tampons before 6 weeks postpartum? I'm 3 weeks pp, and still bleeding and I had a c section and I want to wear a tampon so bad but I don't know how harmful it would be?

They say it's because where your placenta was attached to your uterus is literally like an open wound and can easily get infection. and once you stop having lochia is when your wound is healed. Just what I read.

Yeah you're not supposed to but I was really bad and caved in at 3 weeks. I didn't have any problems buts that's not to say someone else might not. I also had sex early lol

Might cause an infection. Can't use one until your first period

my Dr said no until 6 weeks...I had a c section...there is a risk of an infection as you are still healing.
