My daughter will only be in her car seat on a car ride for like 5 min before she literally wakes out of her sleep and screams to the point where it sounds like she is being tortured. I always make sure she is fed and have a clean diaper before I put her in her seat so I have no idea what it can be. I keep saying to myself maybe she just has to get used to the seat but anyone else experience this? Any remedies?

I play music loudly not ear blowing loud but to where she can barely hear herself crying and it works now as a 2 year old she sleeps through all kinds of stuff

my son does the same thing,he HATES the car seat. I think he gets hot in it.

I brought my daughter home from the hospital in a chicco nextfit and the only issue we has because she still had an elongated head, and toeticollis it got pinned facing one side and if she was facing the wrong way it was painful for her and I didn't know this. now the only issues we have is she's a fat baby so the straps dig into her thighs lol. but luckily we have the only convertible seat that has thigh strap pads. we just have to call the manufacturer and order them lol.

I have a mirror 😩 & I was just saying I think I'm gonna just do a convertible seat which is what I should have done in the beginning @crunchymomma

the carseat toys that play music are really good. I had to sit a lot of times with her. Now I only do when she's really cranky. Sometimes stopping for a few minutes to take her out and soothe her a lil may also help.

infant carriers are pretty uncomfortable honestly. I would try getting a mirror for her to look at herself, that helped my baby when she was getting used to a car seat. if give it a few weeks, if she still hates the car seat I would suggest getting her a convertible car seat. they're much more comfortable, and the baby is actually able to see out the window which they seem to like

I have toys I've been sitting in the back with her for the majority unless it's only me and I have to drive. I put baby music on to soothe her but it's like she screams over the music 😩 I'm actually out now gonna find a car seat toy

Bring toys for her to play with? I would play nursery rhymes or baby shows on my phone and show her as well. I also bought a carseat toy that she could mess with while she sat there. Now half the time she's always asleep in her seat unless she's over it or hungry

I am so incredibly grateful for my best friend. Last night she and I were in a car accident. I was driving and we got hit by a student driver. My car is totaled, I had to come out of pocket for a rental car. Both of my kids car seats were in the car and I’ve been stressing on how to buy new seats for them, she just told me that her and her husband bought us new car seats. I can’t stop crying.

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!
