the longest a Dr will go around here is 1 week, I have seen some women who say their Dr has said 2 weeks

Omg, so out of curiosity I just googled what's the longest someone has been pregnant and found out it was a whole year! Poor lady

@sarahdrew, my doctor usually starts inducing at 39 weeks . she barely ever let's anyone even reach 41

that's a good Dr in my opinion lol I wouldn't want to be pregnant that long

My mom was a month late with me and two weeks later with two of my sisters. That was a while ago though.

one of my close friends had her son at home and he came a month late. that was without a Dr involved though so idk if she would have gone over so far.

they won't let you go too far over maybe like 2 weeks over. anything past 42 weeks the baby starts losing weight

They used to back in the day, but the risks are way too high.

@themommaoffour, I'm almost 100% sure my doctor induces at 39 weeks. since alot of babies don't like to come naturally their first pregnancy

@lbedell95, I went four days over with my first. She was due June 28, 2011 and was Born July 2nd. I was miserable but they wouldn't do anything until I went over. With my second she was born 1 day before her due date. My third was 2 weeks early. I'm currently 36w2d and we'll see if little man wants to come early or not

@themommaoffour, I go back to the doctor tomorrow and I'll be 38 weeks and 3 days. I'm hoping to hear some good news.
