Oh my my my ☹️ and Of course they need the shots. I just think 6 shots is really too much at once! Spreading it out would be so much better and will still have same affect. But that's your call. And your child I suppose I just feel horrible to read that & I personally would never let that happen to my baby that's traumatic. But my option

17 months. they did 3 in one leg gave her a few minutes to settle down and for me to rub it and see if she'd have any kind of reaction then they did the second set of 3. she cried for a minute then was fine. it breaks my heart seeing my children get their shots but I know that I'd rather see them cry for a minute then have them get the disease and not make it through... @jenna.ocon

How old is she? @themommaoffour I can't imagine 6 times getting poked that's so sad I would be crying watching that happen to any child!

@jenna.ocon, It's not much different from taking them and getting them done at once at the doctors office. the only reason that it was 6 times was because they don't mix the live viruses like they do at the doctors office. she cried for a couple minutes yesterday and is perfectly fine today. no fever or anything. just little bruises from the shots

How could you let them poke her 6 times?! That's so traumatizing 💔couldn't you have spread them out?!

@sagwaenglish, she was a little behind. usually if they get them at the doctors office they mix them (which is what causes the reactions because they're live viruses mixed together. but at my wic office they do individual injections. which makes it seem like more

@kedrababy, they had to poke both my middle fingers. so both of them are sore. this is the second pregnancy my iron has been really low

@sagwaenglish, it was horrible. Her uncle was in the waiting room and heard her scream. it broke my heart. 😭

They take my iron every single freakin time! Lol
