help ! I cannot get more than 1 ounce from the right side every time I pump. I nurse my son more often on the right to try and help it produce more but it doesn't make a difference. he eats 5 oz at each feeding and when I nurse he gets plenty. I take fenugreek, drink lactation smoothies and mother milk tea and I just ordered smaller flanges. any other ideas to help me ??

Yeah, maybe try the different sizes. And if the manual pump works better for that breast maybe you'll just have to use that. I only used a manual because the electric ones did nothing for me.

yes he gets enough from nursing on the right side. That's why I'm wondering if the sizes of the flanges just aren't working for me. they should come in the mail tomorrow so I can try and see if that helps. when I use my manual pump it seems to do a decent job of getting a lot out. I am only pumping enough to keep him fed while I'm at work. I can never pump enough to get extra for the freezer so my freezer stash is getting low and I'm worried ill have to start supplementing if my pump can't keep up with how much he's eating. @imhermomduh

Are you saying LO gets enough when just nursing on the right side? If so- and in general- pumps aren't as good as your baby at getting milk. Maybe your boob doesn't take well to pumping. When I pumped, from missing a feeding- I could only get a few oz but I was still full and engorged. I relied on baby to get the rest.
