Can you eat spicy food while nursing? I would love some enchiladas but I don't want to affect the taste of my milk

@kata120615, ate taco bell 3 times a week while I was pregnant and as soon as my baby was born I told my aunt that I needed taco bell. we didn't think about what could happen until after I had ate it but it didn't seem to effect him any.

Okay so I guess it's safe to say it won't affect her too much since I ate a lot of spicy food while pregnant @lilmommy93

my LC said that if you ate something while pregnant then your baby has had it too and it won't effect them as bad.

It's not so much the taste of the milk but how it effects their stomachs. I had buffalo wings one time and my son had the stinkiest has ever. Never again.
