I need some help with discipline. I'm at a loss of what I should do for my almost three year old. Not a lot seems to be working. I'm beginning to wonder if it's more than a phase. He's starting to say b****, we watch our words around him because he loves to repeat. He's starting to hit, like actually punch; his tantrums have gotten out of control, he screams at the top of his lungs and throws toys or anything in reach. He's getting real bad about telling me 'No'. It's getting hard to take him out and about with the way he's been acting. We've tried spanking, timeout. Nothing really seems to help. He just sits there like ok whatever and then will do something again. It doesn't phase him at all.

He does it the worst when it's just me. But has started doing it with my husband too. Usually at other peoples homes, they have very little trouble with him. Could it be a jealousy things because of his little brother or just a toddler phase?

That has to be tough.. My daughter is 14 and wants nothing to do with this baby.. I guess it happens at any age:(

He never showed much jealousy when his brother was younger. But now he's 5 months and much more active and he's been real attached to me lately. Jealousy could possibly be it. He did bite him the other day but other than that he's usually pretty good to him. Not real mean. @squishy3 I'm not sure how else to ease the jealously. We separate time for him or do things with only him.

Maybe you should bring it up to the pediatrician just to see if they might know why this is happening at his age.. Could he be jealous of the baby?

When I yell he jumps back a little, but after about a minute it doesn't seem to scare him at all. He'll cry sometimes, but 30 seconds it's like it never mattered. And he's completely fine and starts on the next acting out. I sometimes feel he's too small for hard discipline but then he knows what right and wrong is. I hate the thought of him being mad at us, but I keep being told he'll forget mad get over it. I could try toys. Or banishing from the backyard lol that's basically where he spends all his time. It all just came out of nowhere! He never acted like this, and then bam! We were confused not sure if it was him seeing his cousins act this way or if it's just cause he's almost 3 and he has phases. But now it seems out of hand. @mommagotbump16

Ugh that sucks hon. Our oldest is almost 3 and has started telling us no all the time too. Truthfully, the only thing that actually stops him in his tracks is yelling 😔 Scares him into stopping, but then he's bawling because he thinks we're mad at him. Time outs still work a little for us, so idk what yall could do...maybe taking toys away?

Short Luteal Phase?

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Sometimes I have no patience for my dog. He's a puppy and he constantly wants me to hold him or pick him up and he constantly cries. My patience while pregnant is literally at 0 and I feel bad because he's just a baby but I can't help it his crying irritates me 😭
