Any advice on how to get a five month to start sitting up more independently. I've been proping Sebastian up and trying to sit him up more by himself but I just want to know how to make it go more smoothly.

Honestly, he will do it when he is meant to. All babies develop differently of course. My son is 7 months and can't even sit up completely by himself. He falls to the side after a minute or so.
