does getting your membranes swept hurt? getting mine friday

It's just uncomfortable that's all.

for me, it was pretty much like just getting f your cervix checked!

Sadly it did not. I got mine done at 38 weeks and didn't go into labor until 39 weeks 5 days and had my son at 39 weeks 6 days. I ate fresh pineapple about 1/3 of it and walked for a total of 2-3 hours and 3 hours after my last walk went into labor.

I absolutely hated it. And was so uncomfortable and hurt. But everyone is different on how they can handle pain

Maybe a little worse, your OB will move their fingers in a circular motion, and I was dilated to a 1.5 before she did mine and right after I was 3. Just very uncomfortable to me but it only hurt to walk a few hours later.

I've had mine done twice and it hurt really bad, but I also am only dilated to a 1 so I don't know if that has anything to do with how it feels.

For me it was uncomfortable but didn't necessarily hurt. The only thing that bothered me was I had a full bladder going in and had made the decision during my appt without planning it. So just make sure your bladder is empty.
