So I'm on day 8 postpartum..
My bleeding is becoming heavier and is now turning bright red, I'm having discomfort again after feeling fine and having little to no blood, today I passed a pretty big clot enough to make me freak out for a second. I've also hand blood smell bad as well, should I be calling my ob or am I just over thinking ?

Over thinking after having a couple baby only 8 days ago! After my second baby I bleed for a month!

I was told if the blood increases or cramping increases its your body telling you that you are over doing it. Maybe try more rest less activity but it you are worried it would be worth a call to the on call dr for advice.
