My daughter Avery was born yesterday at 37 weeks! I woke up early thinking I peed my pants, but realized it wasn't pee when it just continued to flow. 13 hours after being admitted we decided to induce to avoid an infection or meconium passing, because little miss was taking her sweet time. After being in labor for 17 hours (4 hours induced) I couldn't tolerate the pain anymore and asked if it was too late for an epidural, so my midwife checked my cervix and I was completely ready to push. She was out in just 2 big pushes! 6 pounds 6 ounces, and 18.5 inches long. She's such a quiet and sweet baby, so proud to be her mommy!
