Just got back from Faiths 9 month appointment ,I'm kinda upset its been 3 months and my daughter has only gained 1lb, her pedi suggested adding formula. I feel a little defeated, I wish my milk was enough for my little girl. I'm still going to breastfeed, I'd hate to give her formula, but I need her to put just a little more weight on.
Every appt I have for my daughter their always like "she's gaining appropriately but she could be gaining better" 😐...if she's gaining appropriately then I'm not worried 💁🏻.
oh we know why she isn't gaining any weight its because she's a ball of energy she is constantly on the move ever since she could move. Also her pedi was just suggesting that I add formula, I agree that it will help her pack on a few lbs I'm more upset that my milk isn't enough for her. She use to be in the 80% percentile for weight . I think there is something wrong with me because I haven't lost any weight in months from breastfeeding.
I'm in the same boat! Lucas has gained weight very slowly since he was born and he's only in the 9% for weight but 95% for Height. It's sad that these babies can be healthy and growing but these Drs try to force feed our babies without trying to figure out if there's something else going on that could be keeping that weight from packing on.. Sorry for the rant mama❤️
