I apologize if I asked this before. The last two appts I've had when the midwife measures my belly, I measure small but when I had my last ultrasound (not this past appt but the appt before) baby boy measured right on time. Anyone experience this? This is also my first baby, not sure if that makes a difference or not. The midwife doesn't seem overly concerned after she looked at the ultrasound I'm guessing because the baby is measuring right.
I'm the same way because I have more room to grow up instead of out. I'm tall. If they are concerned they will do ultrasounds but it's nothing to be overly concerned about unless the ultrasound says he/she is behind. Every woman and baby grows differently :) just ask your OB if concerned.
I'm a little on the bigger side so I haven't gained no more than 10 pounds. And I'm 37 weeks but on Wednesday at my appt I measured 35. It doesn't even look like I'm 9 months pregnant.
For me he basically said they will watch it closely, they wanna make sure he placenta is doing what it should. There isn't anything he suggested I do. My first baby was born 34w and weighed 4lbs6oz. For some reason I'm expecting a small baby this time around too.
@katiem2053, at my 33 week appt I was measuring at 29 weeks and I've gained about 18 pounds so far.
I'm not a small girl prior to pregnancy. And I've gained twenty pounds this time. I've been measuring small which they didn't seem concerned with until my last check up (32weeks) I measures 28 weeks at this point. All of my scans look good but he said at this point he wants to do a scan every two weeks to watch babies growth.
My midwife is always worried just by how petite I am. She thinks I can't carry a child. But this is my second pregnancy so I know I can. Haha.
I am pretty petite and I'm all belly. I was a little concerned after this last appt because of how the midwife reacted at first but when she came back in after looking at the ultrasound she didn't seem concerned as much so I felt a little better.
You look like a petite woman so you probably just have a small bump. I wouldn't worry about it.
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
Got scheduled for an ultrasound...baby is measuring smaller than expected. Midwife says she's not worried. Anyone else's baby measure small? I'm so sad! 😢😢😢
She really said that?
I don't understand my MIL sometimes. I had a doctors appointment last week (the day before I turned 36 weeks) and my midwife said baby boy is head down and wayyyy down in my pubic bone. Great news right? So when my
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
I lost my baby
I went to the dr for my 12 week appt. And my baby had no heartbeat. Words can't describe how heartbroken I am right now.
Thanks ladies! I appreciate it! I don't look like I'm 36 weeks and everyone likes to point that out lol.
