That's def not true. My daughter is A+ and I'm trying to get pregnant again. That's not how that works at all. The only reason O can get blood from O is because O is a universal donor. You might want to talk to your doctor about this because I'm o positive and I've been pregnant twice.

Rh negative and ABO incompatibility are two totally different things :(
also type O does as well if the mother is synthesized, think of it this way Anyone can take blood from an O donor. BUT O can only have blood from O. Same for carrying a baby, O can't carry any blood type baby once the mother has been synthesized (birthed a baby with a different blood type)@lovebuggg2016
its not about the negative rh factor its about the ABO type o factor which has the same reaction but no treatment. :/ @karina809
Yes, that's why if you're any type of negative, not just O, you have to get the shot. The negative is what makes your body fight of and attack the fetus.
no ive never heard of that. now...what i do know. is that if you have negative blood type... you need an extra treatment ...my cousin has that. your body will kill the baby thinking its a bacteria ...but she has 3 daughters .so you can have kids you just need that extra treatment if your blood type is negative.
I just read up a little bit on it and from what i read theres always a chance that your blood can mix with the baby in the womb but thats rare and unfortunately that could be what happened to you unless your doctor has told you otherwise. What i read pretty much says that its like flipping a coin it may or may not happen but your next pregnancy could be a healthy pregnancy despite the fact that it takes a little longer to conceive. It says it has to do with it interfering with the placenta then causing a severe interference with the oxygen supply that passes to the baby. I just know you'll get your rainbow baby. I can feel it!! Just dont loose hope i know that its easier said than done but i just have a feeling💖
rh incompatibility and abo incompatibility are different. yes, they have a shot for rh, but nothing for abo. I know its a real thing bc my doctor told me just didn't explain. I had to research it on my own. I am not giving up, just confused and need alot more information. I have heard of this before but didn't know I was type o until my last mc. If your husband was a different blood type and your daughters blood was different and synthesized yours then you would have had a hard time conceiving this second child. With me and my husband it took us 2 whole years of activity ttc until we got pregnant 2 different times both ending in MC. @heera
I have type O blood and have never heard of that. I do know that they give you a shot when it comes to the RH factor and things like that but that doesnt sound right. Im not saying your wrong or stupid or anything but as far as my oldest baby goes I don't think she has my blood type and i got a shot. The baby im having now my husband doesnt know his blood type and my unborn baby is fine...Ide talk with a doctor bcuz i still think you could have a baby with the opposite blood type i wouldnt give up on that...
They say after your first born if the child has a different blood type than the mother.... then it causes antigens to circulate into the mothers blood which synthesized the mother making it to where she can never carry another child with any other blood type other than o? They say it doesn't effect your first born but if your first born has a different blood type then it would make it to where you body fights off your future children? IF your partner has anything other than O! Have y'all heard of this? Do any of you girls have more than one child that has different blood than you? like does your husband and first born have a different blood type? I have seriously broke my heart over this subject thinking I can never have children with my husband. We have experienced 2 miscarriages together and my doctor thinks its bc my blood type and my Husband's are abo.incompatible? like my body keeps fighting my baby off. @karina809 @ariellesmommy
I have O positive
