in all honesty I didn't know you could take your kids to the dentist when they 1st got teeth.. thought they needed to be older(3-4)
my child is 3 yrs old and NEVER seen a dentist.. I wonder why her pedi never told me to take her! I feel terrible 😕..
well got my babies a new pedi and taking her to her 1st ever dentist appointment next week.. wish us luck! 😫

@santistevanmommie I'm not really sure why I thought 3-4 yrs.. i guess because they are older and might be less fussy .. idk but i do feel so bad like its a form of neglect! and i just really didnt know.. now to find an eye doctor for her..

@arivera64 i thought eye Drs were when they reached school age! sheesh.. im bad at this 😂.. @missjess @huntersmommy101 i switched my daughter to my sons.( ths one the hospital referred him to) they have a dentist to come and wipe down babies gums after their pedi appointment.. only way I found out she should have seen a dentist yrs ago lol..
I just asked about this! Someone told me 2yrs old! I'm glad you posted this because now I'll take her in sooner. Same for her eyes! I didn't know it was supposed to be at 6 months! @arivera64 I'll definitely be taking her in for that too
one of our friends works in a dentist office that takes kids and adults and she told me you make their first appointment when they get their first tooth as well. my son is 10 months with 6 teeth and i said his pediatrician never ssid anything to me about it. i was so confused.
Yeah I saw some like 1-2 year olds at my dentist, I thought the same thing though until I seen them, that you didn't need to take them till a bit older. I guess we know now. But yeah your pediatrician should of informed you! Glad you got a new one.
Yes starting at 1. Mine didn't suggest it either. IDK it's like we're supposed to just know I gues lol
@arivera64 eye dr at 1yr? her father and I both need glasses and a lot of my family members.. I just don't get why her pedi didn't suggest it or recommend it seeing as I was a ftm!..
yep my kids all start at age 1. Same with the eye doctor especially since almost everyone in my family wears glasses
@mommybug, They just looked at her teeth, asked the brushing routine and gave her a goodie bag 😋 I'm sure it will be !

My daughter went when she was a little over a year and it went pretty easy; only time I've ever seen my child sit so still! (Lol) So hopefully her visit will be a piece of cake! 😌
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

My sister in-law is 13 weeks pregnant but they can not find a heart beat for the baby. She has no sign of a miscarriage, not even cramps. The Dr. Is pushing her to take some meds to help her pass the baby. This was her 1st ultrasound even. She is 38 hoping for her 1st baby. I'm telling her to wait and don't take anything. What do u guys think ?

My cousin just got a call that my uncle has been kidnapped and they are asking for 250,000. My uncles cousin was there and saw them take him. This happened in Mexico. Authorities are useless.
My 6 year old and I got our nails done today. She got her first manicure and they painted Olaf on her thumb! Some people have expressed that they think she's to young to be getting a manicure. I used the manicure as a bribe to get her to stop biting her nails and if it works...I'm going to keep taking her bi weekly when I go for a fill. I remember my parents not letting me get a manicure until I was in high school. Is it really so strange for a little girl to regularly get manicures?
Oh no neglect! @mommybug new moms don't just know these things! Pedis should tell parents these things! If it wasn't for this app I wouldn't know things as well
