My working mamas, do you pump at work? If so, manual pump or electric ?:)
@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom, @mommagotbump16 oh okay , I see . what do you girls do with your milk until you get home? Do you take your own insulated lunch bags, stick it discreetly in the faculty freezer? Lol . Sorry for all the questions
@octobermama96, not outright. I have an office, so I just shut the blinds and lock the door. Others use one of our extra rooms at work.
I live in California but work in Nevada (I'm in the border). certain states have different rules. I don't think my job is required to provide a place but I'm able to float around and use various offices to pump in. In California I think it depends on how many employees the company has and that determines if they have to provide you with a private place to pump. If worse comes to worse you could pump in your car.
@mommagotbump16, @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom @dohmommy2016 and your jobs provide you a place to do so?
electric. I am as I type this. I have a pumping bra and can sit and eat my lunch while I pump!
what works better to get more milk? A hand pump or a electric pump?
how do you working mom's pump? do you pump on a schedule at work or only do it during your break?
Pumping at work is for the birds.
Decided to switch from electric to a manual pump seeing if that works better
what's the point of pumping at work if I can't store the milk and it just goes bad. might as well stop breastfeeding.
No problem girl! I put it in a lunchbox in the fridge until I could take it home to freeze it.
