@akla202, your size has nothing to do with it. I was 88lbs 5ft before I got pregnant. I'm not 82lbs 5ft after my son. You're body size has nothing to do with what type of birth you have. I had an all natural birth with me son. @preggersblues just relax, you will dilate when baby is ready.

if your tiny ur going to have to have a c-section I had too with my first baby the doc induced me and 22 hours into labor and I stopped at 5 centimeters . I'd this ur first baby.

So you're not even due for another 4 weeks and your doctor is pushing a c-section because you aren't dilated??? That makes me sick. Your cervix will dilate when your baby is ready to be born, they shouldn't even be poking at your cervix until you are in labor because it can cause premature labor and infection... So many awful providers push unnecessary medical interventions that put you and baby both at increased risk, all for their own convenience... Stand your ground and don't let your doctor bully you into something that isn't necessary.

What's odd? that you're not dilated or that you haven't had a c section ?
