It's really weird but I usually sleep on my sides no problem but I sometimes roll on my back at 28 weeks I don't feel uncomfortable or out of breath but I can sit back on my sofa and feel breathless and dizzy. X

@lauramorg, definitely try the pillows behind you like @winterbaby95 says it helps and you'll probably find you wake up lying on them but at least your not flat on your back xx

I do what @winterbaby95 suggested as I would often wake on my back. I did it all the time with my first. Like @clairee said babies fine it's more for us I think!

@clairee, @winterbaby95 thanks ladies! I never even thought about putting pillows behind my back, I always fall asleep on my side but always wake up on my back an it feels so heavy, but definitely going to do the pillow thing tonight xx

Put some pillows behind you when laying on your side so you cant turn fully onto your back :) I use to do it to spread the weight a little :) xx

hey @lauramorg I do this a lot too and spoke to my midwife she said it's not harmful for baby but more for mum as it's the weight of the baby lying on a major vein. I woke up the other night and had been lying on my back had a major headache that meaning and felt sick think it's because of that. I've now been putting more pillows behind me lol xx
