2.5 weeks PP and my letdown hurts like a MF...... My midwife told me some people just have painful letdowns... Pleeeeease let this pass because I wanna cut off my boobies!!

So “The letdown” on Netflix, if anyone’s watched the show, can someone tell me how close to my reality that’s going to be? I’m genuinely worried more so because, my continent (Africa) fails to provide non judgmental support groups to new moms. Women are expected to die inside alone with their feelings.
My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️

Has anyone used a nipple shield for overactive letdown? My letdown is too much for her to handle. She cries, screams and pulls away seconds after latching on. I have tried all positions. It is very stressful to feed her.. Please suggest ladies....
This sharp pain in my left breast reminds me of how letdowns feel during breastfeeding.
@giananiicole, When all your milk comes down through your breasts. Some people feel it, some don't at all. Usually when I feel it happen milk will spray out everywhere hahah
