Dr. Brown bottles are good for breastfed babies from what I hear...I dunno if you already know this but it's best to wait to introduce bottle until you milk supply has been established and breastfeeding becomes second nature for baby, this usually happens around 4 to 6 weeks or sometimes longer for babies who have a hard time learning to latch or for moms with an over active supply lol just a tip to help you get started, pumping isn't BAD but it doesn't empty the breast as well as the baby and can lead to low supply if your supply isn't established yet and babies need to learn to latch well first or else they can get nipple confusion and stop being able or even wanting to latch to the breast...good luck mama! No problem, sounds like a good plan! Now when it comes to introducing bottles....I can't help you there lol I can give you all the answers I read....make someone else feed baby without mom around, try this bottle and that, do not give in until baby takes it even if baby starves for 12+ hours...but none of that worked for us (I never let her just starve for more than a couple hours because I couldn't do it)....10 months and counting, never once accepted a bottle no matter which one it was LMAO my daughter had a tongue and lip tie though so I think after the learned to latch to the breast a bottle was just too uncomfortable for her....every baby is different!

I use Dr. Brown bottles on my 2 week old son. Works great! I breastfeed & pump (and then feed him breast milk w/ the bottles)

I breast feed and pump as well my daughter is 3weeks old and I love Dr brown bottles unfortunately my daughter won't take the nipple its too long and it gags her I guess cause she's used to my nipple lol so I bought her tommee tippee and those works great.

you'll have to see what works best for your LO because my first daughter took Dr brown just fine

my son takes the Dr. Brown bottles when I pump. he refuses to take the nuk ones though. I only pump though when I get too full to the point where it hurts

my LO really only likes the platex kind.

Dr Brown bottles are the only ones we tried and my daughter takes them with no problem. Make sure to use a preemie nipple so the flow is slower so the baby doesn't develop a bottle preference over breastfeeding. Also make sure to pace feed when bottle feeding.
