thinking about changing doctors. first she said she won't see me for my 16 weeks check up cause there won't be much going on and nurse practitioner will see me. for my visits the nurse assistant checks the baby's heartbeat not her. and the last time I went she made me wait long in the room cause she was on the phone in her office. today I called 2 hours ago twice cause I have a yeast infection and need her to prescribe something. the answering service said she is going to call in 15 minutes and nothing yet. and on top of that must likely she won't deliver my baby. whatever doctor on call will. not liking this 😡😡😡😡

that's unfortunately kind of how it goes. I have only seen my actually dr a hand full of times. I've seen her assistant and the PA cause they want me to get comfortable with everyone in office. fortunately I love them all. it sucks having to have whoever is on call to deliver I know but that's just how most places are :(

It's pretty normal for Drs not to see you until later in the pregnancy or if complications arise. Most have the nurses or midwifes check you until your two week appointments. With today being a Saturday it's not uncommon for a dr not to respond especially for a yeast infection. Did they give you a safe list? Monistat 7 is what I was told on both pregnancys it's over the counter and safe.

I know. I miss the private doctor I used to have. she was always there for me and delivered my baby. but now I'm too far from her @rachh40
