omg my neighbours across the roads kid has screamed for about half an hour for her mummy.... she's in the garden. I'm guessing her mummy isn't...... some people's parenting skills are questionable. poor thing is getting in a state. Hate hearing kids in distress....

aww it's upsetting isn't it @sara-lou. I know everyone's parenting style is different but it still doesn't stop you feeling for the child xx
I was at a soft play last week @mich77 & I kept seeing a little girl playing by herself. Over 1 but under 2 I'd say. I kept looking out for her parent or whoever she was there with & I couldn't make it out. Then bit later she was standing crying for ages & again I tried seeing who was with her to get their attention. I even walked around the front to the seats. Eventually someone got up & walked over but she'd been by herself for at least 30mins... I know Mum's need a break sometimes but I thought it was a long time to leave your toddler by themselves...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

Well that's it I just felt bad for the little girl. She was happy to go around herself for a little while but then obviously got upset she couldn't see her Mum (or whomever it was). I let Morgan go off by himself but I walk around so I can still see where he is. He's still young & 1. I'd wanna make sure he's playing nicely or 2. Be close of another child wasn't being nice lol
