What the fack malorie? That's crazy..

Maybe the boy will cooperate? And in most places to get the child out of the house and with his father there has to be documented disturbance calls.

I didn't call on my crazy neighbor and she murdered her husband in our hallway. Call the cops.

I would call the cops and CPS. What happens next time when the little boy gets in the way? I have worked with someone that was in a DV relationship and the Dad ended up killing their son during a fight. Please call

Let the boys father know, and call in to the police/cps as well. Hopefully with a report on file the father can get an emergency hearing to keep the child out of that situation. No child should have to witness that, and I know in just the last week I've heard of at least 3 cases of a boyfriend killing the child.

Call the cops! That child shouldn't be around that it's seriously traumatizing for a child. Don't call the cops for her call the cops for the kid.

If only people knew how many innocent baby's end up hurt or killed for being in the middle of this kind of situation ?please call the cops! Don't wait until the poor boy gets hurt

While it won't get written up as a domestic unless she talks, police do keep track of nuisance calls to a residence. That's about all that will happen unless she magically decides to take out a charge.

IloveAriana -- I'm going to try and talk to her tomorrow, after she's calmer. I'm going to point out that her son is watching, and domestic abuse is so detrimental to children. Maybe it'll make a difference, but either way, we're going to try to get ahold of the kid's dad.

Sometimes it's hard for the victim to call the police, she could be afraid to do so. You need to call and report this incident, domestic violence is not something to brush off. It will only escalate if you ignore it.

I honestly would just advice her to call for her child's sake. Maybe she has no one else. Try to peer pressure her into calling. Sometimes that's all you can do. If not you're risking your family's safety aswell. Some people are crazy, especially living so close to that guy.

I posted not too long ago about bil (whose abusive pos) killing my sil dog... he was released from jail with a restraining order and that same day show ed up again at Sil house to get back at my sister (she lives there) began fighting with her and making a scene. He was arrested again that same day and gets out on the 19th..I'm scared for my sisters safety.

As much as intervening seems like the right thing to do, it's not always the best decision.

Since so much time has passed I wouldn't call. No one is in immediate danger and she'll probably just send them away. That being said, the poor baby doesn't deserve that. Not only would I tell the dad, but be willing to testify if he uses it to return to court for a modification of custody. Next time, I'd call the minute the fight starts. That'll give that dad legal documentation of it. I'm not advocating taking that baby from mom, but if she's not willing to protect him then his dad needs to have him and she shouldn't be allowed to bring him around that jerk.

I can see why your situation would be tough.

Think of it this way...

How horrible would you feel if something happened to her or (God forbid) the child? It's in your power to maybe stop something horrible from happening. I know how you feel and I don't like to be the meddling type either but when it comes to violence, they made it your business.

I would call. That poor baby :/

It's only us in this duplex, them and us. There's nobody else who saw/heard. It would be clear who's calling the cops. This sucks.

Yeah absolutely do not warn him that you're calling the police, that never goes well

I think wait on calling the cops. If the man comes back, call immediately. Otherwise, I would let the father know when he comes to get the child. Because if you call the cops, they will talk to the girl, and she can deny everything. And then the cops can't do anything and the neighbors could retaliate...

I wouldn't warn him of anything. Just call the dang cops. By warning the guy, you are setting yourself up for a nasty confrontation and possible retaliation.

I do agree with your dh telling the little boy's father.

You can always call and tell them that you'd like to remain anonymous. I know that doesn't sound like the best cause a triplex there aren't many other people who would call but domestic violence is never okay. I feel bad for everyone in this situation.

It was about an hour ago. If he shows up tonight, I'm going to warn him that if he goes in the house with the boy, I'm calling the cops.

I am anxious about possible retaliation. I'm here with my 4 month old alone 13 hours a day. We live in Texas, and we have protection in the house, but I take my LO on walks most days. The neighbor is a big guy.

I'm keeping an eye on things for now. I called the landlord, who texted the girl. Landlord said call the cops if they make noise again. I guess I'll just listen closely for now.

Call

I'm not sure how much time has passed now, but I would still call and report it. Also it's a great idea that your so talks to her child's father, to let him know what's happening. No child needs to be in that kind of environment.

I would call. Don't give her the option on calling or not.

Нравится Ответить

I would absolutely call the cops, that sweet child has no business being around that situation and if the mom won't do something about it, someone should.

Нравится Ответить

I would advocate for the child. It's sad that it risks causing her to lose custody or visitation with her child, but that boy comes first, and she's wrong for putting him in a dangerous situation.

Next time, it could be the boy slamming into the wall, and it could be worse than a sore arm.

I would inform the father of what happened, and if it happens again, call the cops. At the very least it's a noise complaint.

This is a tough situation to be in. I'm sorry you are having to deal with this OP. While I feel sorry for her and the child it would be a tough decision to make. I do think someone should be called. I would be paranoid of retaliation though, with my baby in our home right next door. Ppl are just crazy these days. Who's to say he won't come over and try to get back at you? I don't know OP. I'm sorry. Hopefully someone has some good advice. I would just be scared.

Call! It's one thing to put herself in danger but she's also putting her son in danger. He needs to be protected.

Нравится Ответить

For the sake of the child please call. Men like that will hurt the child to get at the mom and the mom should not have the child in that house with him. It isn't about her or what she wants its about that little ones safety, if she's not thinking about that then you need to.
