My husband got into a bit of a verbal altercation with a superior at work today, and was put on indefinite leave. I'm worried about our health insurance. I'm not working, what are our other options if we lose our insurance?
Question: how much is the blood work test that tells you the gender? I'm on state health insurance so I'm sure it doesn't cover it, but I have three friends getting it done and finding out way early and I'm dying to know what my baby is 😫😫😍😍

need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Any moms on Medicaid, my boyfriend has to add our daughter in his insurance for work... Can she be doubled insured ? If not , do I lose my coverage if u can't add her?

Thanks for the advice. I believe Medicaid and Medi-Cal are the same thing... Should I apply now or wait until we know for sure what our situation is? @mama_mara @blessedmom @mommytoabel

Medicare is what the whole country calls it but for California it's Medi-Cal. You should apply now. It can take awhile.

I'd wait to see for sure but as soon as you do know. Give them a call they best in the morning like 7:30 is when they open. Explain to them ur situation that ur pregnant and this far along. & see what they can do. Or you can do it online. But i had trouble online. So calling was much easier for me. Being pregnant and that far along gives u an advantage of not having to wait so long. For it to process. @amorrione

u can do the medical app online and it's fairly easy they have up to 45 days to process it but for mine it didn't take that long...he could be offered Cobra insurance from work but since u will have the financial hardship until he finds a new job maybe medical will be your safer bet... Just to make sure baby gets all the attention he/she needs

Def. so the app. You'll have to submit paperwork to a social worker i believe but should qualify due to pregnancy and then baby will also get insurance as well. My work insurance did not cover everything ai medical is helping.
