Anyone else nervous about keeping their pets happy after baby? I have 3 rescues and I've been doing research non stop too make sure everyone transitions ok, especially the little one I've had since 3 weeks old, my little bottle baby whose completely attached to my hip.❤

I hope so @emiliasmommy15 ! they are fine with my ten year old daughter but the one in the picture hates my boyfriend and bites him when he gets too close to me😂

i have two cats i'm super nervous about keeping them happy and how they're gonna react the little guy when i bring him home. i'm hoping everything goes smoothly. 😬

@nicipicky, its harder than what I thought from all my research! two big things I keep hearing about is introductions, have something of the babies brought in ahead of time so they can get used to it, and when you get home don't carry the baby in have your so or somebody else do it and automatically greet them like nothing has changed and then introduce them personally😃

haha you've been reading the same thing i have been!! i've been doing tons of research too lol. @talean89 That's what i'm planning on doing. and still giving them lots of attention so they don't get jealous and act out.

@nicipicky, yes! I would hate too see them sad and so many people rehome their animals I'm like fuck no they are my babies too😂😁

haha exactly!!! everyone keeps asking me what i'm gonna do with my cats and i'm like "uhhhh keep them. duh!!! they're my babies too!" i couldn't imagine not having them! @talean89

my dogs are very hyper and they're large so when we brought our son home I went to the bedroom with him and my husband took the dogs potty. we let them come down the hallway one at a time to kind of greet him with some sniffs and toe licks. the bigger our son gets the more we introduce them, when my son is sleeping in my arms or something we let the dogs come up and sniff and lick and touch him. my son was on the floor laying down on his mat and I sat a little bit away and let the dogs lay near him. I watch really closely and if they get too close or something I just tell them "hey" and they back up
