So mamas with experience ONLY!!! My toddler is acting up more then usual lately and I know that's just how kids are they try to test you. My question is , is a time out chair effective ? I do spank her on her bottom but I feel not every situation deserves a spanking.
Do you guys think spanking a 2 year old is okay? Because I use to spank my 2 year old, but I started to notice that she started to be scared of me and that just hurt my heart, so I no longer do that and she loves me so much more, but her dad scares her because with him she gets spankings for every little thing she does and she cries like crazy when she goes with him, so what should I do if her dad doesn’t want to stop spanking her?

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
So question for you Mommies that have older kids ages 12-13 years old how do you discipline your child? Do you think spanking with a belt is okay? Apparently my little sister went to her school today and told on my mother saying that she's abusive because my mother spanked her for my sister trying to hit her 🤔 the counselor completely made my mother seem like she was in the wrong and that it's the against the law to spank her child. I disagree if my kid tries to come at me and hit me yeah Ima whoop her ass 😂
My mom told me I should start spanking my 14 month old but I told her no I’m against spanking there are other ways to teach her right from wrong. Who else is against spanking??? Picture because she is too cute🥰

honestly it's so hard to determine what works bc every child is different and responds differently to everything. with my oldest spanking never did anything she'd just laugh but it works for my other.

you can try. With my daughter it doesn't work. but when i taje away her toys she hates it so that works better for me

yup!! my 3yr old hates time out and won't repeat his actions that put him there (that day anyway) after he is out.

My two year old has been acting up something bad these past few weeks. She's usually so calm and well behaved for a child. I'm not really into the whole spanking thing because usually just talking to her in a serious way works. But lately she's been so outta control that I did try to pop her hand a few times and it just made it worse and I felt bad for it. So now I just tell her if she doesn't listen or doesn't do something she cant have something she really wants and that works for us.

I make little ones hold the wall. There hands are occupied and they have no choice but to face the wall. Corners work too. Steps only work if your child can sit still (most don't when their in trouble).
