I went in at 38 weeks and was 2cm dialated had it done and nothing 😞I think depends on how dialated yu r and yur body I went in the next wk at 39 weeks and asked for it again because I was at 4cm and wen I woke up tat morning I had my bloody show, mind yu thru out the week/weekend I was using my yoga ball and also drank some tea tat suppose push ur labor, and i also tried castor oil,one of those helped me dialate 😄 well after I had my sweep I went thru my day lk a normal day and walked for about 2 hours then just went home to my yoga ball bounced on it for 2-3 hours and waited for my bf get off wrk den jus headed to hospital for small contractions, ddnt even knw my water broke thru out the day and had my baby girl at 6 am 😄😊 so jus depends on if bby is ready and how far dialated yu r !! good luck

Yesss . I was 39 weeks . she did it at 11:30 am I started having cramps RIGHT after but at around 5 is when I started getting mild contractions . . I was in labor but I wasn't dilating so I went to the hospital again the next day and they kept me because I was progressing then . if you are dilated to at least a 1 and you are close to your due date I guarantee you it'll work 😊
