So I found out that my migraines are because when I got my epidural last month when I delivered my son, they punctures something and spinal fluid is leaking to my brain and causing pressure. Pleeeeeease be careful when getting your epidural mommies. I wouldn't wish this pain on my worst enemy. 😔
@kaylaskibinski, ice might give you some relief! How long are they going to give the meds to work??
@heavenwings, crippling migraines and back pain. I haven't been able to sleep because when I lay down my head throbs even worse. If the buildup in my brain is bad they will do a drain. And yes, it is so painful.
Wow that sounds so painful! Do they want to do a drain? Maybe you should think of a second opinion just because of what I know I would. Than again it might be just the next step.
Are you dealing with migraines or just headaches??@kaylaskibinski
She felt my back and there is a squishy lump which she said was a buildup of fluid. They put me on steroids to try and help it go away but if it's serious I'll need surgery on my head. @mumof2 @heavenwings @kelseys @mommy99630 @kimlove
yeah i had pain shoot from my spine and going to my brain after i had my daughter and i had her naturally but how long can that last for you?
Oh you need to have that pressure in your brain drained!!! It's another spinal tap but I tell you it will help you right then. Did your doc say what he is going to do?? I have HIP which is high pressure in the brain. Sometimes they can give you water pills to try to drain it too.. I hope they give you answers soon..
I have had headaches after lumbar stuff I was told you must lay flat on your back for the first several days and can't lift more then a gal of milk because it can reopen. If it does reopen then headache is the sign and it does suck!!! I know they then should treat the pain and something else. Try to keep laying flat and see if they can help treat the pain. I am sorry girl I know I agree I don't wish headaches or migraines on my worst enemy!!
after I had my first son, I had to share a room and the girl next to me cried the whole time from migraines. she got the epidural. after two days they ended up taking her back to the surgery room to take blood from her arm and put it in the hole where the epidural was. air was going into her spine/head.
I've heard those are awful but you can get a patch to help fix it, right?
Yeah that's what my doctor just told me today. I'm not saying all migraines are caused by that, but mine are. Even had a CT scan done and there is fluid buildup in my brain causing pressure. @mumof2
i didnt have epidural and i had bad migraines so r u sure
Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?

Me and my princess first time getting epidural and I’m numb from legs is this normal i can’t walk good yet
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Should I let my x know when labor starts
Water Birth or hospital bed? Natural or epidural? When to do the epidural before it's too late ? To have my mom and mother in law in the room or just my man and I?? Ugghh help?!!
Until the prescription they gave me runs out. Which is 2 weeks. @heavenwings
