Hey ladies!! I just recently stopped BF because of a medical reason. I always one or two bottles of formula a day anyways so he could get use to it. And that was the similac sensitive one and he seemed to enjoy it. Now that we strictly formula I tried enfamil gentlease because we had so many sample cans and my son hated it. Cried after and was fussy we switched back to similac sensitive and he back to a happy baby! 5 weeks old btw. But today he's super fussy and upset and he hasn't pooped since yesterday morning!! Is this normal w formula because he pooped 3 times a day or more with BF..also what does non GMO mean... The first can of similac said non GMO and I just realized the one we using now doesn't say that? Please give some advice ladies:) thanks

My baby had the same problem he went 3 days without pooping he's doctor told me it was because of the change he was miserable for days, try gripe water maybe the formula is making him gassy
In my opinion if it has a long shelf life its genetically modified no matter what it says.

Non gmo is ideal. For everyone. Lol. Unfortunately in the USA it's expensive and hard to live a gmo free lifestyle. I recommend doing some research. Just remember in this country it doesn't even need to be 100% organic to have a usda organic sticker on it, so take it for what it's worth. Good luck and don't freak out
Non gmo means made with ingredients that are not genetically modified
@bennysmom528, I had the poop thing happen too I googled it and talked to the doctor. I believe its up to 5 days without stool is considered normal if it goes over then call the doctor.

Locking your doors
We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?
