So he was doing well on the formula, then he started to just spit up like crazy. We couldn't put him down at all without it coming out like a fountain... I'm trying a new one to see how it goes... So far not too great :/ could I be over feeding my baby?
@awood96, good luck with yours too :) hopefully his doesn't get as bad as my sons has due to formula!
@rockysmommy, good luck with your son. Hopefully we can get our babies feeling better!
@rockysmommy, I know it's helped my daughter. She's been on a few different formulas and this one has worked wonders! It's expensive but all formula is..
@ciaramarie, everyone's told me about this doing really good I might get his formula switched to this maybe it'll help him too. I know he'll grow even bigger faster when he stops spitting and throwing up so much.
I will go out and get done today! I really hope it helps. I also called his nurse and she said to put him in his car seat and steam up the bathroom. It'll help break up his congestion and should help a little. @ciaramarie
@rockysmommy, I'm so sorry. Thankfully my son just spits up a little and it's really only when I lay him down. He refuses to sleep in his bed so he sleeps in his swing. @ciaramarie he sleeps in a swing which is elevated a little. I'll look into something that sits up just a little more so it'll hopefully be easier on him.
You also need to sit his mattress in his bed up at a slight angle to so when he spits up if he does in his sleep or something he doesn't choke. Also some formula won't sit well anyways. Rocky has acid reflux and it got to the point it was silent reflux and I'm just now getting to change his formula after a month of him throwing up and projectile vomiting all the time and crying his head off while eating sometimes. We have a doctor appointment Friday about it
Yep(: my daughter had acid reflux and that's what her dr told me to do. & keep him sitting up like that for like 30 mins after eating. Her dr also recommended she slept in a rock n play because of the reflux luckily I already had one(:
Try burping him after eating then laying him in a swing, car seat, bouncy seat something that sits him up not laying flat. He may have acid reflux.
I made an appointment for him tomorrow morning. I hope we can figure something out.
@rockysmommy, wic does cover it my daughter is on that formula as well
