the whooping jab used to be at 28 wks but can have from 20 and u just book that with u gp surgery the nurse gave me mine

the GTT needs u to fast before having it then they take blood give u a drink of a syrup or lucozade u wait two hrs have more bloods it's to test for diabetes high bmi usually calls for it think it's over 35

Nope I don't think so. And no but I have the midwife on Tuesday coming and think they are doing it then along with other bloods and need to speak to her about the whooping cough jab too as havnt had that either! X

@linzi_duffie, are u consultant led? if u are being measured and u are 4 wks ahead then definitely did they give u a GTT or do u have that coming up as it's usually 28 wks

Ah right ok! I'm only 27+3 just now so will wait and see if she offers me one! I reckon I should get one just to check baby as I'm measuring 31 weeks as of today! Xx

@linzi_duffie, they should offer ones at 32 36 weeks to check apparently it's procedure which is why she's pissed at consultant lol

Yeah needed one at 32 wks to check growth and placenta placement and then should have been booked in at 36 for another because they can't accurately measure ur belly with tape and my son was on the small side so they will also check if the fluid is OK which if it's not I'd have needed weekly scans and if she wasn't growing properly I'd have to go every fortnight.

Why do you need growth scans for bmi? Is it because you have a high bmi? .. I'm only asking as I have a high bmi and havnt had any growth scans so wondering if I should be having them xx
