A week ago yesterday was the happiest and scariest day of my life. I started the process of getting induced at midnight on Sunday, didn't actually start labor until 715am. When they started me on Pitocin my baby boy did not like that. Three times his heart rate dropped below 100 and they stopped the Pitocin and put me on oxygen to get his heart beat up. Three different times I almost had to go into emergency c section. At 800am on Monday it was finally time for me to push, I push just his head out alone for 4 hours almost, his shoulders got stuck and his umbilical cord was wrapped around him a little so they had to cut it. They manually removed my placenta and accidentally left a lobe(mine had several lobes). Around 3pm I had my first hemorrhage. I clearly didn't know I was all I knew there was a lot of blood and I didn't feel good. Around 730-8pm I hemorrhaged again and this time the doctors knew it. My blood pressure went down to 76/63, they pressed on my stomach and realized what was going on. They had to go in and scope out the hemorrhage(tmi sorry) I had no pain medication or anything. I lost four units of blood and had to get two blood transfusions for my blood levels to get back up. This was on of the scariest moments of my life. I don't think if it wasn't for my baby, husband and family I could have made it through. Being 19 and having my first kid this makes me never want to have kids again. Anyone else have a horrible labor?
