So since I only have roughly 9 weeks left in starting to do some research and looking what I should bring in my hospital bag, and I read that adult diapers like depends are better than the adult pads and more comfy. Any mommies who have recently had a baby have any recommendations?

I tried using tampons and they were uncomfortable so I cant relate. lol. I like pads simply because I dont have to insert or pull anything out or even have to touch the blood in any way.

@babyelkins2016, I'm the same way, that's why I hate them so much! diapers felt more natural, bigger size so and they don't move around like pads tend to do. and by size wise I mean cover your whole area not bulky tho

The only thing I'm nervous about is I've literally worn a pad once in my life and that was the day I started my period like 8 years ago lol I've always used tampons so I just don't know if it's gonna be uncomfortable @alexalexa @mrshamilton830 @savanahr777 @talbottgirl @bjeff

Not going to lie, I LOVED the diapers. plus I make padsicles/diapers and they are even better for summertime babies!

I used the hospital pads and mesh undies and I was so comfy. I got 9 stitches between the two spots that I ripped so the lose mesh undies helped a lot and my lady parts were able to breathe. I still have some mesh undies but I have been using regular bikini now with winged overnight. I have never used the depends diapers so I dont know if they are comfier or not. Its up to you though. Personally a lot of the lists you read you wont even need half the stuff on them. I stayed in my hospital gowns for the first 2 days since it was easier to try to breast feed and then when they bathed my son it was easier to skin 2 skin and keep him warm. I kinda hated the nightgown I wore because it was a bit tight and hard to pump in.

Honestly, I kinda wish I would have gotten diapers in the beginning. The pads they give in the hospital are absolutely amazing though. I didn't really need them that long so normal overnight pads work just fine. I'm currently 2 weeks PP.
