Yep that's what I did and that's what I suggest you do too 👍🏼
@fruitloop13, I got about 5 outfits for each size up to 6 months just cause I'm a shopaholic and the clothes for baby girls are so cute lol
@vivalakats, that's what I was thinking. I have no idea what size she will be and I don't want to buy a bunch of teenie clothes if she comes out bigger and won't ever grow into them. maybe I'll just wait until after my baby shower and buy a few smaller things until she gets here.
I bought two outfits at 18 weeks after the gender but honestly it's hard to know anything turns out they didn't fit because she was a preemie I bought 0 preemie clothes and all my baby shower things were 6mon+ it sucked but j got around to it when she came home from the NICU
Until the baby was born. I had like 3 pairs of clothes they gave him at the shower and then I bought a coming home outfit before he left hospital but all the other clothes he has now I've bought it after he was born. And it was a good thing I waited because I was expecting him to be as big as his big brother was and nope he was tiny so if I would've bought the same size clothes I did for my first born he wouldn't have fitted into it
I didn't buy a single thing until after the baby shower. You'll be amazed at the amount of stuff people will buy for your baby
We bought clothes here and there when we saw something that was too cute to pass up pretty early on...I didn't actually stock up though. You get a lot of clothes normally at a baby shower-which we did- so I haven't gotten any extra stuff since then
the little newborn shirts are best until the umbilical cord falls off though @iryna883
onesies are best for the first few months @iryna883
18 weeks after we found out the gender. However i started buying accessories and everything else the second we found out we were pregnant@fruitloop13
After 20 weeks I wanted to be 100% that the gender was correct before buying anything even though I found out at 16 weeks due to a private ultrasound.
I bought a few outfits when I got my positive. People thought I was crazy but I've "known" what my babies were each time when I get pregnant. But usually always 0-3 months. Only 2 of mine so far have needed preemie/newborns for longer than a few weeks. Baby last year was 7 pounds, so baby this year isn't getting much newborn either.
