I'm nowhere near in labour I have SPD so in a nutshell I basically have to cope with this pain until baby is here did anyone else experience this? What helped you to cope? Xx paracetamol does not take away the pain, don't care what the hospital says it doesn't ease it any way! X every footstep I make absolute agony even pushing my legs up to the bed agony again... I'd rather be in labour than suffer with this for the next four weeks as she can be overdue ... Can anyone give advice ? Xxxxx the midwifed are saying that basically I have to cope with it, if this is this case I'd like some advice on how to because it's making any movement difficult and my partner is having to physically pull me up!

I had terrible SPD, there wasn't a lot I found that helped. But little things like a plastic bag on the seat of your car can help you twist in and out of the car xx

I've suffered with an excruciating back problem while pregnant. Went hospital the other night and they gave me a prescription for Dihydrocodeine. Go back and ask for that. I only take it in evening along with paracetamol so it helps me sleep.

@suzie80, thanks Hun, hopefully it will make me stay sane! I really need to if she is over due and there is a possibility this pain my continue for max a month.. I really empathise with women who do go through this and who are going through this, when people say it's just a bit of discomfort it's normal... And not every women goes through this .. I need them to say I empathise with you, the pain your feeling is shit and here are a few things that helped me.. I get you'd rather just get it over with, I really do... The size L tubi grip doubled over , wear it over your bump and down about a third of your legs it's the only thing that helped me stay sane before and the other week when mine flared it settled it down. Late preg there's not a lot to be done but I sympathise because I was so bad I've been in a wheelchair when my pelvis twisted and my sp joint overlapped. Only other thing is codeine your doc can prescribe it to you

@tinytinylittleone, keep your knees together as much as you can. I was advised to tie my legs together with partners tie at the knees so I can see the position I need to be in. swing into and out of the bath, car, bed, when sitting etc. helped me a bit xx
