Well today did not go as planned, not felt baby move so went into hospital for monitoring. Because I'm 40 weeks hospital…

@holliesinead, thanks chicky, I'm the same low risk all the way through so it was not what I was expecting to hear, but it's happening because it's meant to. Feel more relaxed about it now. We're popping some stand up comedy on tonight to give us a giggle xXx

I was almost in tears when I didn't go into labor naturally after waters broke and had to be induced I had my heart set on water birth to was low risk throughout so there was never a reason not to have it but because waters went and he didn't budge had to go on a drip and I'm glad now because there was no way I would of dealt with the pain naturally everything happens for a reason hun cxxx

@mummywarwick, No problem at all ☺... Yes it really is short notice and we were surprised because we didn't think things were so bad that I'd need to be induced early, she's always measured like 1cm off at my midwife appts but they'd never been concerned about it so to hear from the sonographer's that she should be weighing about 6lbs but she was only weighing 4lbs 10oz at the time was quite upsetting. We've sorted out pretty much everything now there's still a few bits we need but they can wait until Wednesday or so and thank you hun xxx

Hey hun I know exactly what you're going through, I had it all planned out too and I was planning to have my water birth in the home away from home birthing suite, I was even hoping I'd go over and maybe have an early August baby which would tie in with my girls summer holidays so I'd be able to get a bit more support. Unfortunately that's not going to happen how because at my 36 week scan they found she was very small for dates and they're not happy about it so I'm now being induced tomorrow instead so I've been rushing around this week like a blue ass fly trying to get everything sorted for tomorrow including childcare for my girls. Anyway I just wanted to reach out and say I know what you're going through and it's very upsetting at the time but then you feel excited because you'll be meeting your little one sooner than expected, I wish you lots of luck hun xx

@sara-lou, thanks chicky at least I know I'll be meeting baby before the end of the week. My body has already started getting ready, I'm 1cm dilated and apparently my cervix is low. Me and hubs are going to do lots of walking to hopefully get my body started before Tuesday. But reassuring I've got monitoring, baby seems to have changed pattern and is very quiet. (Until they put the bloody monitor on!)

Aw I know that must suck. That's the thing with birth plans though. You also have to be prepared for it to change as these babies have a mind of their own about when & how they're going to come! The best thing is that babies born the safest way for you both even if that's not what you originally had planned. Cross fingers for you though 😊
