Ladies any advice on birth control, has anyone had the depo shot? If so what was your experience with it?

I honestly couldn't tell ya. After taking the depo I was too scared to try anything else so havent tried any other form of b.c

I gained about 10 lbs with it and COULD NOT lose is. I work out usually 6 days a week at least and it did nothing. also read lots of horror stories about long term use and how long it took people's hormones to readjust so they could get pregnant. for some people it took years. others months. it took me about 6 months to level out and get pregnant. they dont make you aware of ALL the risks when they give it to you. it's nice convenience wise but I will not be going back on it.

Also makes yu very moody

I hated it. I gained weight like crazy on tht. deff wouldnt recommend it. Also nvr got my period either like the person above said
